Description:
The holiday farm Carovane, of Luca Marcora, lays on one side of the Val di Taro, at the ethnic and cultural meeting point of the people from Liguria and those from the gran duchy of Parma. Carovane is a mountain-oasis on a territory cadenced by castles, characteristic villages and summer pastures. It has a well equipped equestrian center for horse tourism enthusiasts. Just in this area, in the valley of Bardi, the Franco-Germanic Barbarians who conquered this land after the decadence of the West Roman Empire brought by horses of Celtic origins; these horse adapted themselves perfectly to these mountains. The heirs of these horses are the Bardigiani, which are present in the farm, and represent the best way to discover and venture this bursting surroundings.
